Ride the wheels of history with this classic Oldsmobile 98 Convertible!</p><p>RESTORATION IN PROGRESS...</p><p>This is one of the rarest car out there today and one of the finest cruisers. Pre war body, and less than 12 are said to exist today as a convertible.</p><p>The previous owner was unable to finish the restoration. We are currently working on the car and will be installing a complete new interior in leather, and a new soft top.</p><p>The hydraulic lines and pistons are all new to operate the soft top, seats and front windows.</p><p>Much time and money has been spent into this car so far and today a very rare Oldsmobile 98 Convertible to own.</p><p>andsim;</p><p>The Oldsmobile Ninety-Eight was a full-size vehicle introduced in 1941 and continued in production until 1996 with only one brake during that time period while efforts were switched to production of military equipment during World War II.</p><p>In 1947, Oldsmobile sold approximately 194,000 automobiles. Just 3,940 were Series 98 convertibles. Very few of these stylish and mechanically sophisticated automobiles remain intact today.</p><p>Standard equipment for 1947 included spare wheel a tire, an electric clock, safety glass, dual horns, cigarette lighter, a solenoid starter system and a vacuum booster pump.
