1964 Chevrolet Chevy II 1964 NOVA PRO STREET 496 big block, aluminum heads, intake, 1100 cfm carb (custom built), roller cam, roller lifters, roller rockers. Forged pistons, rods, and a Scat 9000 crank. 93 pump gas, 10.75:1 compression. Ceramic coated headers, 3 exhaust, dynomax mufflers. MSD Digital 6 Plus ignition 16 gal fuel cell, pushlock hoses/ fittings, BG belt drive fuel pump, Aeromotive 5 port/ boost reference bypass regulator. The TH400 trans was built by Trans-to-Go in St. Louis, common builder for area racers - Transgo shift kit, upgraded 34 element sprag, extra clutches to increase holding power. The rear end is a GM 12 bolt car style rear that was narrowed. This has Moser Axles, Moser C-clip Elims, Moser full spool and 4:11 gears. The drive train in this car is stout, no junk. Heidts front subframe w/ tubular control arms. Ladder bar rear suspension. Paint is fresh, tires are good. No time slips but the car was run on the streets a few times for comparison. It should be a low 10 sec car on motor alone. Do the math, around 650 HP, 3000lbs car, 4:11 gears - that gets u in the 10s. The engine is full roller, cam and all, custom ground. That Carb is high $$$$ custom built. Decent heads, forged pistons and rods. Scat 9000 crank. Its a 496 so fun for the street or track. It can handle NOS but how much is up to you. I was going to stick with a 200 shot Max. But you need to run race gas and put better timing contol on it. Right now the timing is locked.
