Never Apart Frame - On Restoration, Mostly Original. Nice driver quality, runs great down the road, plenty of power, shows well top to bottom as the real deal! PHS Documented Original owners dealer invoice, build sheet, protecto plate, order sheet, owners manual and its 1964 dealer sales brochure and all receipts. Repainted once original acrylic lacquer trim tag color code V, Grenadier Red ALL ext. int. original except as noted replaced carpet, headliner, FR bumpers, drivers floor pan, LR bottom rear quarter repaired. History original owners son repainted car after setting in a warehouse for apx. 30 years, 2nd owner bought and placed car in his private museum for another 8 years after bringing it to its present condition. Engine original 78X block , (numbers correct w protecto plate), as 389 CI 325 hp w 4 barrel, replaced early with period correct Tri Power set up. Completely rebuilt motor 2013 by reliable machine shop, bore 30 over. Entire bay shows well with original look.Trans factory delivered (3spd), changed early to M20 4 speed, original Hurst shifter. Differential 3.361 Saf-T-Trak. Exterior Body Glass grenadier Red paint shows really well, all glass, gaskets, moldings good, body and lines straight, trunk good, Coker P21475R14 red line tires w drum brakes, spare tire said to be original of five that came on car new. Interior all interior shows well with original door panels and seats, drivers shows some wear, all gauges, heater work, not working is original AM radio.Production Number 6862 of 7384 Mileage reads 20,500, (likely 120,500). Built at Baltimore plant as a real GTO and has in dash tack, sport steering wheel, console vacuum gauge, power steering, under hood reel light, original wheel covers w spinners and its AM radio.
